About Family Service Credential

The Family Service Credential (FCS) is a comprehensive, competency, and credit based training experience, designed to support direct service staff in their work with children and families.

Ruth Chvojicek is co-developer and coordinator of the Family Service Credential. She has been training FSC participants for almost two decades.

Ruth has worked as a Head Start teacher, home visitor and trainer. In addition to her work with FSC, Ruth works as the State Indicator #7 Child Outcomes Coordinator.

In July 2012, updates were added to include integration of the Head Start Parent, Family and Community Framework outcomes into Family Service Credential activities.
