Cooperative Educational Service Agency 5 (CESA 5) is the home of Portage Project since 1969 and is one of twelve cooperatives in the state of Wisconsin serving school districts. The Portage Project began in that year as a three year demonstration project under a federal grant. The Portage Project is now known internationally for pioneering a model of early intervention program for children with disabilities living in rural areas. Project staff work collaborative with a broad range of agencies and service organizations at the local, state and national level in the United States and abroad. > to CESA 5 web site
